Michelle grew up in Kenya surrounded by animals, open skies and wild landscapes that taught her early on how to listen to the natural world. At the age of fifteen she moved to the UK, and after many years of movement and change, has settled into a gentle rhythm of life in Somerset, close to her family and the land.
Her therapeutic approach is deeply informed by her own lived experiences of healing – from chronic pain, loss and the many complexities of life. Walking the path of embodiment – learning to hold space for others’ and her own process, healing through and with the body, learning to self-regulate and trust in the body’s innate capacity to heal – has become her life’s work. Craniosacral therapy is one of the ways she now support others to connect more deeply with themselves and with the possibility of healing in their own lives.
Along the way she has immersed herself in learning and embodying many different healing modalities (such as Reflexology, Scaravelli inspired yoga, Breathwork, Somatic Movement and Nutrition) which all led her to study an integrated approach to Craniosacral therapy that combines a biodynamic perspective with fascial unwinding.
Outside of the treatment room you’ll find her taking long daily walks along the river Parrett with her two beloved dogs, or dancing, gardening, painting, drawing or cooking (she was a retreat chef once upon a time!). She brings real warmth and presence to her work, and warmly invites you to get in touch if you’d like to find out more.
