My name is Mary,
In addition to my interest in all things equestrian, and my love of dipping into the sea for a swim on a cold November morning, I am a fully qualified Counsellor and a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) which provides the ethical framework to which all practicing Counsellors are expected to work.
I am a passionate advocate for mental health and have witnessed first hand the positive outcomes that can be gained from engaging with a qualified Counsellor.
Do you tend to ‘bottle things up’ because you don’t want to burden family or friends – or maybe it just doesn’t feel safe to talk about the things that are worrying you to your family and friends?
Counselling provides a completely safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can be heard and where whatever you say stays within the room.
Do you feel ‘stuck’ and unable to move on from the past, and is this preventing you from enjoying your relationships at home and in the workplace?
Psychodynamic Counselling can help you gain insight into why you may be repeating negative patterns, and, using the Counsellor as your safe ‘blank canvas’, together you can explore ways of letting go and moving forward.
Do you suffer from anxiety and feel stressed at work, and is this affecting your performance and relationships with your colleagues in the work place?
Counselling can help you explore the reasons that may be underpinning your stress and provide you with a new confidence to tackle the issues you are experiencing.
This is just a snap shot of the many ways counselling can help.
