Relaxation Therapy will help you to improve your quality of everyday life, by building the skills of ‘resilience’ to adversity and stress. Through a unique, in-depth and holistic approach, Debbie will give you a clear insight with instruction to adapt to stress, and bounce back from difficult times in life.
What can the client expect at the appointment
At the first appointment, Debbie will gather information about the client to build a picture of their general health history and well-being. This will allow her to gain some insight into possible underlying ‘triggers’ and together with the client will work towards a course of action. This is usually followed by a Relaxation Session.
What will happen in a session
The therapist will discuss progress with the client at each session, in a reflective and supportive way. Depending on the client’s needs, different Relaxation Therapy approaches may be implemented and explored together with the client to support and enhance the client’s physical, mental, spiritual and recreational elements of relaxation.
How many sessions should the client need before they see a result
Clients should notice an improvement after one session although a minimum of six weeks would be required for lasting improvement, and to learn and build skills of resilience.
