Sam Maynard

I grew up in the local village of Ash just 6 miles from Yeovil. I went to Yeovil college where I studied Sports Science and gained a diploma in that. After which I joined an organisation and did volunteer work for the next 3 years travelling around the world helping those in need both physically and practically through different means, which was very hard work but also very rewarding.

I have also been an approved driving instructor for 8 years, teaching many people a life skill of how to be safe on the road. I have since trained as a massage therapist in both Swedish and Deep Tissue at Devon Academy.

When I felt I needed a change from instructing, I decided becoming a massage therapist would be a great change. So many people go through life stressed with aches and pains and just put up with it. Massage is such a great way to relax, revive, and improve these problems and that’s why I became a therapist as I want to see the people I treat live better lives.

I’ve had some great results treating people with different aches and pains and have found a real improvement sometimes in just one session.

Besides massage I really enjoy all types of photography, (landscapes, birds, macro, portrait) and try and go out whenever I get spare time to take a few photos. I also do it as a part time job too which is great.
