Zen Yoga is an ancient movement practice focusing on acceptance, alignment and awareness. I invite you to bring curiosity and kindness to your practice, noticing any tightness and restrictions with non-judgemental attention. I believe yoga is for everyone, regardless of age, fitness or flexibility. If you can breath you can do yoga!
Slow, gentle, mindful movement to find stillness, flexibility and strength. Be kind to yourself. Start where you are, right now, today. Find your stretch and breath into it. There is no goal, only nourishment:
For your joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, nerves, blood and every cell in your body.
For your heart as you reconnect with yourself, the earth and those around you.
For your mind as you practise accepting it and learning to observe it with interest – catching thoughts as they arise and gently letting them go.
Your first class is free – come and give it a go. No need to book, just turn up.
Mats and blankets provided but if you have your own please bring it. Wear loose, comfortable clothing you can move in and be prepared to work in bare feet.
