Yoga means union or to yoke. In Hatha yoga this applies to the union of the physical body with the mind & spirit.

Yoga has existed in some form for thousands of years. Though closely associated with Hinduism & other traditions including Buddism, is best described as a spiritual rather than a religious practice.
Hatha yoga is the type of yoga most practiced in the West & involves the yoga postures called ‘asana’, breathing exercises ‘pranayama’, relaxation ‘yoga nidra’ & meditation ‘dyana’.
One of the great things about yoga is that anyone can take it up & benefit from it. The key is to only do as much as your body will allow, & with regular practice you will find yourself becoming stronger, more supple & with a more positive outlook on life. 
Yoga Valley aims to provide an eclectic & holistic approach to a hatha yoga practice in a fun & inclusive atmosphere.
