SWEDISH MASSAGE

Practitioner

Sam Maynard

Brief explanation of the therapy

Massage is such an effective way to keep your body in optimum condition.

We live such stressful lives, whether it be work or through exercise both can cause our muscles to become tight and tense causing many different conditions to develop. Massage is a great way to help revive those tired muscles.

What the client can expect at the appointment

On your first visit you will be asked to fill out a consultation form. This will help me know of any contraindications that you may have and need to discuss. The treatment will always start off with a consultation but only the first one is when you will need to fill out a form.

As a therapist I understand that every individual is different and so work closely with you to ensure that the pressure given is right.

I use grapeseed oil for my treatments as it has many health benefits and is easily absorbed into the skin. See more details here.

Treatment times will vary depending on what you have come in for.

What will happen in a follow-up session

Further treatments the consultations we be more of an update of how you have been to since the last treatment and anything I may need to be aware of.

I use lots of  different massage techniques during the treatment and it is unlikely that two treatments will be the same.

During the whole treatment your modesty will be kept. I will inform you of what areas I would want to work on in the consultation at the start.

After each treatment I will give you recommendations based on the details on you consultation form to help prolong the treatment and maximise the benefits.
